One of the most important challenges which is exist in medical science is related to dental implants plates that need to be removed from the patient’s body in a second surgery. Therefore, using bio-absorbable implants is one of the best solutions to overcome this challenge. According to this, scientists propose that it is possible to make implants by bioabsorbable materials with rapid prototyping techniques.
One of the best methods to produce bioabsorbable implants is R.P methods like FDM using PCL which is one of the best bioabsorbable materials for this issue and previous studies proved the success of these implants and also we can enhance their properties like mechanical properties, osteo-inductivity, bone regeneration by coating methods like electrospinning . Our coating materials are Akermanite and copolymer of HA-Fluorine with cells.
